Amber Vittoria

My name’s Amber Vittoria and I’m an artist working in New York City.

My pieces focus on femininity and the female form, leveraging physical traits such as body hair, overtly extended limbs, and rounded features. I’m a One Club Young Gun, Society of Illustrators Gold Medalist, American Illustration Chosen Winner, AOI World Illustration Shortlist, and ADC Annual Award Winner.

My work has been recognized by Print Magazine, It’s Nice That, Computer Arts, HuffPost, Teen Vogue, and Man Repeller.

Some of my clients include Warby Parker, The New York Times, NBC, Google, K-Swiss, Refinery29, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Condé Nast, Adidas, CB2, and Instagram.

Laine Kocane

My name is Laine, I’m a freelance 3D Generalist, also creating 2D Visuals and pitch illustration and I work in London.

The software I use the most includes Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Nuke, Adobe Suite and Cinema 4D.

I got introduced to 3D back in high school and right away it seemed like a field with massive potential. It captured my interest enough to end up self-teaching software like 3ds Max and then going to study VFX at the University of Hertfordshire.

After studying, I worked full time for a while. Later going into freelancing, which felt like a better fit for me personally. I was eager to work with various aspects of 3D field, be more in control of things like my time and the projects I work on.

I love experimenting with new techniques and technologies as well, trying new things and avoiding becoming stale.

Along with CGI, I also love illustration and 2D visualisations. I’m focusing on developing my own illustration style at the moment. A big inspiration for me at the moment is streetwear, sports, urban environments and just people looking cool and edgy.

I think it’s important for a freelancer, or any artist really, to find time for personal passion projects. This is the best way to show what you’re interested in, your style and identity or its development and the quality of work you are able to produce. Since I’m more in charge of my time, I can schedule in working on passion projects when it fits me best, which is amazing!

Freelance life definitely has its pros and cons and may not be for everyone, it can be challenging, but at the same time extremely rewarding and fulfilling experience.
